Hello Everyone! I know I haven’t posted anything (my bad), I went on a little holiday to Whistler Canada (more on that later) and as you could tell I was the first one up and the last one down (not even my brother wanted to snowboard that much) so I didn’t even eat lunch, let alone write a post. But don’t you worry my child I have more material than naughty kids on their Christmas list. I have no clue how Easter holiday works, everyone has a different week and it drives me crazy because I am always confused. But nevertheless today I’ll talk about packing toiletries! (You can sound more excited than that).

I have some upcoming trips (more on that later… I’m such a tease haha) and toiletries are basic, I always know what I am going to pack (I have a list, I love lists) so overtime it just gets easier. It’s like eating a cupcake… well not that enjoyable but it could get close.

Don’t worry I am not a make-up guru, I don’t really use fancy products or anything, it has to smell nice, work for my skin and have a cute bottle (oh lovely marketing) The picture might not be very specific in regards to brands but ask away and I’ll let you know everything.

Toiletries

1. Band-aid, because you know, ouch (new heels, old heels, bad sandals). I bring in several different sizes, if I have a small cut in my finger I don’t want to look as if my arm is broken (too exaggerated but you get me).
2. Dental floss, I don’t need to specify why.
3. Eau Thermale, I know I said I don’t use fancy stuff but I don’t know what this water does to me that shakes me up and makes me want to dance into the moonlight. Not a basic, but good to try.
4. Clean & Clear Morning Burst, I love it, my face loves it, it makes me feel fresh and like an unrealistic tv ad.
5. Paris Amour Body Scrub, my mom bought it for me in Bath & Body Works, smells amazing and when you are on a trip you do need an extra scrub.
6. Paris Nights Body Lotion, same as previous, I always moisturise so I use the scrub and lotion to feel fancier, at home I just use St. Ives or Vaseline moisturiser, the thing is hydrating your skin.
7. Razor, no needed explanation.
8. Soap in its box, I don’t like hotel soaps, too small, to fragile and they are quite harsh, so i bring my own. I use Dove with Moisturiser (the green one), see I am all about hydration.
9. Wrap-thing-that’s-for-my-jewlery, I bought it in Cambodia, it has separate compartments for earnings, bracelets, necklaces and rings! Keeps it organised and looks cute at the same time. Because it was a skiing trip I didn’t bring much jewellery, normally I need more space so I use a bigger case.
10. Contact Lenses and their case, so I can see properly.
11. Bobby pins and elastic bands, you can never have too many, bring of different types so you have more versatility.
12. Scrunchie, love them, they don’t harm my hair or make a mark and they are so much fun (girls just wanna have fun, sing with me!).
13. Hair Clip, humid temperature? out of the shower? bad hair day? hair all over your face? Your best friend in those desperate moments.
14. Hair Bands, I was on a skiing trip so my hair was tied, but I always carry some around just in case I want to pull my hair back.
15. Different Brushes, I use the green one to untangle my hair in the shower and the grey one to pull my hair back tighter than a dress on Christmas Eve.
16. Contact Liquid, well I need it.
17. Q-tips and cotton balls, for everything, yes everything.
18. Makeup remover, I like a liquid version, creams always make me feel yucky and slime, so I feel liquid takes everything off better, especially mascara.
19. L’Oreal Moisturizer, it’s actually an anti agin cream (I’m 22 if you are wondering), but I like it, leaves my face like a babies butt, lets see in 20 years if it works.
20. Compact mirror, you never know if the places you are going have a mirror, I know I can’t believe those places exist but they do.
21. Deodorant, I tried using those natural no chemicals….. didn’t work, as I said, ladies with a lot of movement deserve a high powered deodorant (I don’t even sweat, you would never see me soaked, only red faced, but I don’t ever want to smell… ever).
22. Heel Balm, It might sound weird but after a day of heavy walking your feet sleep in peace (they truly do).
23. Make-up removing towels, I always wash my face but I don’t like to leave stains on the towels so I use a make-up removing towel first and then I wash my face to have a better cleanse.
24. Perfume, Juicy last longer than life, and I don’t carry my perfume everywhere so I need to smell nice all day.
25. Toothbrush, no explanation needed.
26. Hair Serum, my hair is normally very well behaved but different climates have funked it up (Yes Singapore I am looking at you) so I need it in case I don’t want to look like Mufasa or anyone from the cast of Lion King.
27. Carefree- always bring pads, tampons, or whatever you need for your trip, and bring more than what calculate, none wants to get stuck in a sticky situation (pun intended) without one.
28. Nail Clippers, it is also your scissor for the trip, it works magic and not only for your toes, I have opened difficult packages with it.

Things I didn’t include but you must (my mom had all of this stuff)

1. Shampoo and Conditioner.
2. Toothpaste
3. Sunscreen
4. Make-up

Remember ladies this is my template, some trips you can take more and some trips you need to prioritise and take less. It doesn’t matter the brand you use, stick to what you know, love and trust, and have a safe trip!

¡Hola a todos! Yo sé que les he fallado y no he escrito nada, me fuí a esquiar a Whistler Canada (les cuento más de eso después) y como se pueden suponer claro que era la primera en esquiar y la última en el lift ( ni mi hermano queria estar en su snowboard tanto tiempo). No alcanzaba a comer, menos a escribir un post. Pero no se preocupen, tengo más ideas sobre nuevos posts que cartitas que ha de recibir Santa. No tengo la menor idea de como funcionan las vacaciones de Semana Santa, hay gente que tiene nomás la primera semana, o la semana de Pascua, o las dos, así que me confundo mucho. ¡Hoy hablaré de como empacar el estuche de baño! Pueden sonar un poco más emocionado.

Tengo unos viajes en este mes (más de eso en otros posts, es para dar más suspenso ajaja) y el estuche de baño es algo básico, siempre sé lo que empacaré (tengo listas, amo las listas) así que en el paso del tiempo se vuelve más fácil. Es tan fácil como comer un cupcake, bueno no tán fácil pero lo podríamos intentar.

No se preocupen, no soy una guru de el maquillaje o belleza, no uso nada realmente fancy o extremadamente caro, tiene que oler rico, que trabaje para tu piel y tener un lindo empaque (ah la mercadotecnia). La imágen puede no ser muy especifica pero si quieren que les diga la marca de algún producto con gusto les digo.

Estuche de Baño

• Curita, porque ya saben, ouch (nuevos tacones, viejos tacones, chanclas nuevas). Yo traigo en diferentes formas, si traigo una pequeña cortada no quiero traer la venda del tamaño de un yeso.
• Hilo dental, dientes limpios siempre.
• Eau Thermale, yo se que dije que no usaba cosas fancy pero no se que tiene esta agua que me hace bailar cuando estoy cansada. No es básico, pero lo puedes probar.
• Clean & Clear Morning Burst, me encanta, a mi cara le encanta, me hace sentir fresca y como un anuncio de la tele.
• Paris Amour Body Scrub, mi mamá me lo compró en Bath & Body Works, huele delicioso y cuando estas en un viaje una talladita extra no viene de más.
• Paris Nights Body Lotion, como el anterior, siempre me pongo crema, así que uso el scrub y la crema juntas para sentirme más elegante. En mi casa uso St. Ives o crema de Vaseline, lo importante es hidratarte.
• Rastrillo, sin explicaciones.
• Jabón en una caja, no me gustan los jabones de los hoteles, están muy chiquitos, muy frágiles y son muy secos, así que traigo los mios. Uso Dove con crema hidratante (el verde), siempre con hidratante.
• Bolsita con mi joyería, lo compre en Cambodia, tiene compartimentos separados para mi diferente joyería. No se enredan y se ve bonito. Como fuí a esquiar no use mucha joyería, pero si sí uso uno más grande.
• Lentes de contacto con su case, para poder ver.
• Ligas e incaibles, nunca puedes tener muchos, siempre es mejor traer diferentes opciones.
• Scrunchie, me encantan ya que no te halan el pelo y no te lo dejan marcado.
• Broches para el pelo, para salirte de bañar, temperaturas húmidas, pelo en tu cara o para cualquier momento en el que te desesperas con tu pelo.
• Bandas de pelo, como fuí a esquiar mi pelo está atado las necesitaba, pero siempre traigo diademas para cuando me quiero poner el pelo para atrás.
• Diferentes cepillos, el verde lo uso para desenredarme el pelo mientras me baño y el otro para relamirme el pelo como bailarina en su show.
• Liquido de lentes de contacto, un poco necesario para mí.
• Q-tips y bolitas de algodón para desmaquillarme y para todo un poco.
• Desmaquillante en líquido, las cremas siempre me hacen sentir pegajosa y que no estoy 100% limpia, y el líquido me quita todo rápido, especialmente el rimmel.
• L’Oreal Moisturizer, realmente es una crema anti arrugas (tengo 22 por si se preguntan), pero me gusta, me deja la cara tan suave como la pompa de un bebe, en 20 años si funciona.
• Espejo compacto, nunca sabes si tendrás un buen espejo en donde te llegues a quedar, no se como pero todavía existen lugares así.
• Desodorante, he intentado usar de los que no tienen químicos y son naturales y todo el rollo y no no son para mí. Como he mencionado, soy un poco activa (mucho, realmente mucho) y nunca me verás empapada (roja si) pero el pensamiento de que puedo oler feo me hace sentir paranoica.
• Crema para los pies, suena extraño pero esta crema te ayuda a relajar tus pies antes de dormir o después de una buena caminata, es el cielo puro.
• Toallitas desmaquillantes, aunque me lavo la cara con mi jabón no me gusta manchar la toalla al secarme, así que me paso una toallita antes de lavarme la cara.
• Perfume, no se porqué el Juicy me dura todo el día, y como no soy de las que trae el perfume en mi bolsa, necesito que si me dure.
• Cepillo de diente, bastante obvio.
• Líquido modelador de pelo, mi pelo es muy bien portado pero en ciertos lugares le gusta pensar que es un personaje de el Rey León (si Singapur te estoy viendo a ti).
• Pantiprotectores, siempre debes de traer toallas, tampons o pantiprotectores, según lo que necesites usar y recuerda siempre trae más de lo que crees necesitar, a nadie le gusta estar pidiendo en un baño público.
• Corta Uñas, te salvan desde ayudarte con el filíto de una uña rota hasta para cortar etiquetas, es como una tijera de emergencia.

Cosas que no incluí porque mi mamá las tenía en su maleta pero tienes que empacar.

• Shampoo y acondicionador.
• Pasta de dientes.
• Bloqueador.
• Maquillaje.

Recuerden chicas que esta es mi lista completa, para ciertos viajes llevas más o menos. No importa la marca que uses, lo que importa es que te funcione, te guste y te haga ver bien. ¡Buen Viaje!
