Hello! This week I will talk about several outfits from my Instagram account @anapatips.o, which is dedicated to inspire you and to help you decide what to wear. I will talk about why the look works, and which body types will look better on each one. Knowing what flatters your body is the key to looking fabulous every day. We all have certain cuts, certain colors and certain shapes that make us look amazing. I bet that there is at least one outfit in your closet that gets you tons of compliments every time you wear it, that means that you should look for similar silhouettes because you have hit the jackpot! Today I will focus on outfits for brunch, for running errands, or for a nice stroll with friends. This is part 1, next week I will upload part 2. Cape Town

 

 

This outfit gives me GIRLBOSS vibes. A fitted cropped long sleeved top in a nude color is gorgeous (if you are an inverted triangle shape look for a darker shade). A high waisted pencil skirt will accentuate your curves, rectangular shapes and hourglass shapes will look best in this. If you are a triangle shape look for a dark color so you can soften your hips. A poncho helps you cover up in style and it will maintain the balance in a very sexy outfit. Nude beaded heels will elongate your frame and will look amazing. Look for a bag with colors that stick to your palette, it will add instant glamour. Gold accents and a nice rosy balm will complete the look (pink is more appropriate for day, otherwise you could look too sexy). The street is your runway!

 

Lace Lady

 

Love this look for an indoor winter event. Bring a trench coat to cover you from the wind as you go indoors. The top flows and slightly conceals your tummy. The high waisted shorts define your waist and add a splash of sexiness. If you are apple shaped you should look for lower waisted shorts (not too low so they don’t create a muffin top), they should hit your smallest part. This looks great if you are a rectangular, an hourglass or an inverted triangle shape, as it defines the waist and creates curves in your bottom half. The shorts shouldn’t be very short and you can add black tights to make it more elegant, or if the weather is chilly. Thigh high boots look amazing and will protect your legs from the cold. A great looking clutch which serves as an accessory and gold jewellery will make you shine!

Leather loving gals step up! This outfit is full on leather without being too harsh. A leather pencil skirt flatters everyone, keep the waist high if you are an hourglass, a rectangle and an inverted triangle; make it a mid waist if you are an apple or a triangle shape. A cropped sweater makes it more feminine and eliminates the extra bulk it can create around the abdomen area. A nice detailed jacket makes an interesting 3rd piece. Make sure the belt hits your smallest part so it flatters you the most (this one is great for apple shapes). Stiletto boots elongate your frame. A nice boyish purse and accessories finish the look, now, where’s the band?

 

Maxi Dream

This is a great way to take a basic maxi dress into an elegant outfit. Choose a maxi dress that flatters your figure, this one is a basic; make sure the fabric is not very thin, as that can make it see thru. A V neck elongates your body, it should drape over your curves, and it shouldn’t pull. Choose a form fitting style if you want to show off your waist, if you want something looser look for an A line, a shift or a sheath cut to skim over your problem areas. Seamless undergarments are a must, if not you will be covered with panty and bra lines. Adding stilettos makes it more elegant. Because the dress comes in 1 color we can have fun with a cute bag, and with lots of details and designs. A white jacket is a great way to pull the look together and keep you warm. The faux fur looks luxurious! (Avoid it if you are an inverted triangle, as it creates extra volume). Gold jewelry ties all the accessories together, nude shadows with a hint of metallic will make your eyes pop, and an orange shade for your lips will add light to your face!

 

Squared

Chilly afternoons call for a casual outfit that still looks put together. Black skinny jeans flatter everyone and go with everything. A black and white high neck sweater draws the attention up and keeps you warm, great for all pear shapes. Make sure it hits before your hips so it doesn’t add volume. If you have an hourglass shape or a rectangular one, make the skinny jeans high waisted and make the sweater a little shorter to show off & create curves. Silver accessories look fabulous, and a bucket bag is on trend and is perfect to carry all of your belongings. A chunky ankle heeled bootie is ideal for shopping or having brunch, the bigger heel adds stability and makes it easier to withstand all afternoon!

 

London Style

This is a very casual and laid back outfit. The shift dress looks amazing on apple, rectangular and inverted triangles. This dress shows your curves but skims over your abdomen and makes you look feminine even though it’s not fitted. Oxford shoes are a comfortable and fashionable option to walk around. A grey coat tops it off; eliminate the shoulder pads if you are an inverted triangle. A cross body bag is perfect for all of your stuff. Fun earrings and a geometric ring look edgy, and liquid eyeliner makes your face look fresh. London´s calling!

 

Statement Coat

When you don’t have too much time to get ready but you still want to look fabulous, you have to grab a great coat! Black skinny jeans with zipper details look great (if you have a triangle shape then loose the zippers as they focus the attention on your hips). A grey loose tank is comfy and it’s the perfect canvas for a coat. The lines are fun and elegant. The colors are neutral and go with anything. Black booties with a tiny heel add a cool touch, add a structured bag to carry all of your essentials. The coat doesn’t have a closing button, making your necklace stand out! This feature is great for petite girls, inverted triangles, and apple shapes, the continuity of the neckline (of the coat) makes you look leaner and longer. Add silver rings, and you are ready!

 

Safari

Let´s start this year with a bang! A safari inspired miniskirt is this outfits focal point. It adds volume and it hugs your curves; it will look amazing on inverted triangles, hourglasses and rectangular shapes. Be mindful of the extra details if you are a pear/triangle shaped, as it might make you look bigger. A sleeveless turtleneck is fresh and keeps the look sexy but modest. Lace up heels adds a wild touch. A cross body bag in similar hues ties the look together. Stack up on rings and wear some hoop earrings. Play up your smokey eyes and be ready to take on the year!

 

Windy Day

Army green jeans are basics if you know how to make them work; this one has a mid height which is perfect, as it will skim your sides. It´s a great neutral dark color that looks polished, and it looks amazing with brown, with white and even with burgundy! Wear them with a white equipment shirt and tuck it in for a more polished look. Tucking it in will show off your waist, your butt and your legs, so if you are athletic, or if you love that part of you, then show it off! Add climbing inspired heels and tuck your skinny jeans in them. Wear a skinny belt, a cross body bag and some dainty jewellery. A warm vest is cozy and fashionable. You are ready for a windy day!

Outfits Invernales

¡Hola! Esta semana hablaré sobre varios outfits que he hecho para mi cuenta de Instagram @anapatips.o, la cual hice para inspirarte por las mañanas y para ayudarte a decidir que te vas a poner. Hablaré sobre los looks, sobre los tipos de cuerpos que se ven beneficiados y sobre la razón detrás de eso. El saber lo que te favorece y lo que no es clave para siempre verte fabulosa. Todos tenemos ciertos cortes, ciertos colores y ciertas siluetas que se nos ven increíbles. De seguro tienes al menos una prenda en tu closet que siempre te chulean cada vez que te la pones, eso significa que debes de buscar prendas parecidas ya que esa fue hecha para tí. Hoy me enfocaré en outfits listos para una merienda, para estar con amigas o para hacer las vueltas del día. Esta es la parte 1, la siguiente semana subo la parte 2. No todos los países experimentan mucho frío, así que hay algo para todos. Cape Town

Este look es para las mujeres que irradian confianza. Un crop top con mangas en un color carne es muy femenino (si eres un triangulo invertido busca un color más fuerte y no tan claro). Una falda de lápiz a la cintura acentuará tus curvas, las chicas con cuerpo de reloj de arena o rectangulares se verán increíbles con ella. Si tienes cuerpo de triangulo usa un color un poco más fuerte para suavizar tus caderas. Un poncho te mantendrá caliente y muy bien vestida, también mantendrá el balance de la sensualidad del look. Los tacones en color carne te alargarán la figura y se verán increíbles. Busca una bolsa con colores similares a los de tu look para verte más glamorosa. Toques en dorado y un color rosado en el maquillaje completan el look y lo hacen apropiado para el día (rojo se vería muy sexy). Las calles son tu pasarela.

 

Encaje

Me encanta este outfit para algún evento adentro. Lleva una gabardina femenina que te cubrirá en la entrada y en la salida. La blusa fluye y cubre tu estómago. Los shorts altos definen tu cintura y le agregan sensualidad al look. Si tienes cuerpo de manzana busca unos un poco más bajos (pero nunca a la cadera ya que esos pueden crear lonjitas), deben de estar en tu parte más pequeña del abdomen. Este look se ve muy bien si tienes cuerpo rectangular, de reloj de arena o de triángulo invertido, ya que define la cintura y crea volumen en la parte baja. Los shorts no deben de ser muy cortos y les puedes agregar mallas negras para hacerlos más elegante, o para protegerte del frio. Las botas altas se ven increíbles y resguardarán tus piernas del clima. ¡La bolsa también cuenta como joyería, y las piezas doradas te harán brillar!

 

 

Vengo en moto

Todas las amantes de la piel den un paso adelante. Una falda de lápiz le favorece a todas, mantén el talle alto si eres rectangular, triángulo invertido o reloj de arena; baja un poco el talle (mitad entre cadera y cintura) si eres triángulo o manzana. Un suéter corto le da un toque femenino y elimina la tela extra alrededor del abdomen. Una chaqueta con detalles se convierte en una pieza interesante y divertida. El cinto te debe de apretar tu parte más pequeña (este es una buena opción para las de cuerpo de manzana). Las botas con tacón te alargarán el cuerpo. Una bolsa un poco masculina y accesorios completan el look. ¡Ahora a buscar tu motocicleta!

 

Vestido Maxi

Esta es una gran forma de tomar un vestido largo casual y volverlo elegante. Busca uno que le quede bien a tu figura, el de la imagen es bastante básico, asegúrate de que la tela no sea muy delgadita, ya que eso la puede hacer transparente. Un cuello en V alarga tu figura, debe de moverse con el cuerpo y no debe de ceñirse o jalarse. Busca una silueta al cuerpo si quieres lucir tu figura, si quieres algo con más espacio busca el corte línea A, o el columna, esos disimulan todo. La ropa interior sin costuras es muy necesaria, ya que si no se te notará el calzón. Agregarle tacones lo hace más elegante. Como el color viene en un color sólido puedes jugar más con los accesorios, como la bolsa, ya que es colorida y divertida. Una chaqueta blanca ata todos los colores y te mantiene caliente. La imitación de pelo se ve lujosa (evítala si eres triángulo invertido ya que agrega volumen). La joyería dorada se ve increíble, las sombras con colores metálicos harán brillar tus ojos y un lápiz labial naranja le dará luz a tu cara.

 

Al cuadrado

Aunque haya frió siempre hay algún outfit con el que te puedas ver bien y estar cómoda. Los jeans skinny se les ven bien a todas y van con todo. Un suéter blanco y negro acapara la atención y te mantiene caliente. Debe de terminar antes de que tus caderas empiecen, así no crea volumen extra, ideal para las de cuerpo de triángulo. Si tienes cuerpo rectangular o de reloj de arena busca que tus jeans sean a la cadera y que tu suéter sea un poquito más corto, así podrás lucir tu figura y crear volumen. Los accesorios plateados se ven increíbles y la bucket bag es suficientemente grande para cargar todas tus cosas. Unas botas con tacón ancho son perfectas para ir de compras o para ir a una merienda, el tacón más ancho te da más estabilidad y te facilita estar en tacones.

 

Caminando en Londres

Este es un outfit muy casual y relajado. El vestido shift se ve increíble en las que tienen cuerpo de rectángulo, de manzana y de triángulo invertido. La silueta enseña tus curvas pero disimula el abdomen y te hace ver femenina aunque no esté pegado. Los zapatos Oxford son una opción a la moda y cómoda para andar caminando. Una abrigo gris te mantendrá caliente (elimínale las hombreras si eres un triángulo invertido). Una bolsa cruzada te mantendrá tus manos libres y es perfecta para llevar lo más esencial. Aretes divertidos y un anillo geométrico le agregan un toque original y el delineador en líquido hace ver tus ojos más abiertos. ¡Lista para Londres!

 

Puro abrigo

Cuando no tienes mucho tiempo para alistarte pero te quieres ver fabulosa busca un muy buen abrigo. Los skinny jeans con detalle de zippers se ven muy padres (elimínalos si tienes cuerpo de triángulo/pera ya que crean más volumen en las caderas). Una blusa holgada es cómoda y es un básico indispensable para usar debajo de un abrigo con rayas. El estampado es divertido y elegante, y al tener colores neutros, combina con todo. Los botines con un tacón ligero son perfectos para salir a caminar y una bolsa estructurada le da un toque extra al look. El abrigo no tiene cierre o botón y hace que tu collar realmente se luzca. Esto es un punto a favor para las chicas bajitas, con cuerpo redondo y con cuerpo de triángulo invertido, ya que la continuidad del escote en el abrigo te hace ver más larga y más alta. Agrega anillos plateados y estarás lista.

 

Safari

¡Hay que empezar bien el año! Una minifalda inspirada en el safari es el enfoque del look. Agrega volumen y abraza tus curvas, se verá increíble en triángulos invertidos, en relojes de arena y en cuerpos rectangulares. Ten cuidado del los detalles en las caderas si tienes cuerpo triangular/pera, ya que te pueden hacer ver más grande. Una blusa de cuello sin mangas mantiene el outfit sexy pero modesto. Combina muchos anillos y usa unas arracadas. Los tacones de agujetas agregan un toque salvaje y divertido, y la bolsa cruzada en dos tonos une los colores. Juega con tus sombras y estate lista para conquistar este 2016.

 

Un poco de viento

Los jeans verde militar son básicos si sabes cómo usarlos, estos son de altura media (ni en la cintura ni en la cadera) así que son perfectos, ya que son los que más favorecen. Es un color neutro que se ve muy refinado, combina muy bien con colores como el café, el blanco y hasta con el borgoña. Úsalos con una blusa con bolsillos y fájala en tus jeans para verte más elegante. Al fajarte la blusa se resalta tu cadera, tus pompas y tus piernas, así que si eres atlética o te encanta alguna parte de ti, es tiempo de mostrarla. Agrega unos tacones inspirados en tenis para la montaña y mete dentro de ellos la bastilla de tus jeans. Usa un cinto pequeño, una bolsa cruzada y joyería delicada. Un chaleco calientito te mantendrá cubierta y a la moda. ¡Estas lista para un día fresco!
