Hello! The new InTrend Magazine just came out! This week I will talk about dresses. Dressing for the holidays is really fun, until you realize you have nothing to wear to the many events and gatherings. It would be great to be able to buy something for every occasion, but when that is impossible, I come to the rescue. Knowing which dresses flatter you the most makes it easier for you to look in your closet or in the store, and choose styles that will look great all year round. Play with colors, textures and prints, or mix it up with accessories and different hairstyles. I leave the link below (page 28 &29), and happy holiday dressing!

Anapatips: Festive Dresses

Before you know it we are already in December! Here comes the month filled with festivities, laughter and joy! Every weekend there is something different to do. We have at least one get together from the family, from our friends or from the office. Most of the events are formal and there is nothing like having the dress (cut) that will make you look great every time. We will see which cuts flatter you the most; it will make dressing for the holidays look extra easy.

 

Hourglass

The bust and hips are in equal proportion and there is a defined waist.

If you have an hourglass body, then this is your dress. It will accentuate your curves and you will look stunning. Because it is very sexy due to its fit and cuts, it should have a longer hemline (knee length or lower). That will help you balance the sexiness of the dress. Although it´s gorgeous, it might not be the best dress to wear to the office party, evaluate your options and your environments, I bet that if you show up at your friends gathering in this ensemble their mouths will drop.

 

Apple

 

This body normally has slim legs and a round stomach.

This cut is perfect for an Apple shape. The vibrant color will make everyone smile. It´s loose and it will help smooth your abdomen. The ¾ sleeves are flared, and will finish in your arms smallest part. The neckline is conservative, that enables you to play with your hemline, making it a little shorter and showing off your legs!

 

Pear

This body is characterized by having a small waist, and hips are wider than their shoulders.

A midi dress with a bit of flare will make you look stunning. The neckline shows off your shoulders and balances your hips. The print and cut will elongate your figure and will smooth out your curves. The sheer effect is sexy but in a sophisticated way. It is fitted at the waist to show it off and will make you get an hourglass shape. The sheerness will reveal a little glimpse of your legs and a nude shoe will make them look mile long!

 

Rectangular

This body has the same width in shoulders, waist and hips.

You can choose almost all of the applications and designs as they will help you create volume. I choose a dress with a cross-over neckline and a detail at the side. This is a fantastic color and it will look great on every skin tone. The neckline will emphasize your collarbones and it will create a feminine silhouette. The detail on the side will create the illusion of curvy hips.

 

Inverted Triangle

This body has broad shoulders and small hips.

What we want to do is to soften your shoulders and draw the eye down. A V neckline helps you elongate your figure and your neck. The skirt has some pleats which add volume and give the perfect balance to your frame.

 

 

 

Diciembre/Enero InTrend

¡Hola! ¡La nueva InTrend Magazine ya salió! Esta semana hablaré sobre vestidos para las fiestas. Arreglarte para los eventos de navidad es muy divertido, hasta que te das cuenta que no tienes nada que ponerte. Estaría padrísimo siempre poderte comprar algo nuevo para cada fiesta, pero a veces eso no es opción, y ahí vengo yo al rescate. Si sabes que vestidos le quedan bien a tu figura será mucho más fácil escoger en tu closet o en la tienda un estilo que te favorezca mucho y que podrás usar todo el año. Juega con colores, texturas y estampados, y diviértete con los accesorios y el peinado. ¡Dejo la liga abajo (páginas 28 & 29), y espero que te diviertas en tus eventos!

 

Anapatips: Vestidos Festivos

En un abrir y cerrar de ojos ya es diciembre, y llega el més más festivo, divertido y lleno de alegría. Todos los fines de semana hay algún evento, ya sea posada familiar, de amigos o del trabajo. La mayoría de los eventos son formales y no hay nada como tener el vestido ideal que te saque del apuro. Vamos a ver que siluetas te favorecen y asi vestirte para las fiestas será súper fácil.

 

Reloj de Arena

El busto y las caderan están proporcionadas y tienen una cintura pequeña.

Si tienes un cuerpo de reloj de arena, entonces este es tu vestido. Acentúa tus curvas y te hará ver espectacular. Como es un vestido sensual dadas sus aberturas en el escóte y en el abdómen, busca que sea un poco más largo, como a la rodilla. El largo le ayudará a balancear la sensualidad. Aunque está increible talvéz no es la mejor opción para la fiesta de la oficina, evalúa tus opciones para saber a donde te lo puedes llevar, si es posada de amigos dejarás a todos con la boca abierta.

 

Manzana

Este cuerpo normalmente tiene piernas esbeltas y tiene una abdomen redondo.

Este vestido es ideal para las chicas con este tipo de cuerpo. El color es vibrante y divertido. Es holgado y te ayudará a suavizar tu abdómen. Las mangas son amplias y al ser ¾ terminan en la parte más delgada de tus brazos. Como es bastante conservador en la parte de arriba, puedes jugar con una bastilla un poco más corta y así presumir tus piernas.

 

Pera

Este cuerpo se caracteriza por tener una cintura pequeña y las caderas más anchas que los hombros.

El vestido midi con vuelo te hará verte sensacional. El escóte hace ènfasis en tus hombros creando balance con tus caderas. El estampado y el patròn te alargará la figura y suavizará tus curvas. El efecto con transparencia es sensual, pero muy elegante. Está ceñido en la cintura para mostrar tus curvas y te ayudará a conseguir esa figura de reloj de arena. Las transparencias dejarán ver un poco de tus piernas y al elegir zapatos del color de tu piel te alargará la figura aún más.

 

 

Recto/Rectangular

Este cuerpo tiene la misma medida de hombros y cadera y no tiene cintura pronunciada.

Con tu cuerpo puedes escoger cualquier tipo de aplicación y diseño ya que te ayudará a crear volúmen. Esta vez elegí un vestido con un cuello cruzado y un detalle de drapeado en un costado. Este color es fantástico y le va bien a todos los tonos de piel. El escote hace énfasis en tus hombros y crea una silueta femenina. El detalle en el costado te ayudará a crear la ilusión de caderas.

 

Triángulo Invertido

Este cuerpo tiene los hombros más anchos que las caderas.

Cuando tienes hombros anchos lo que queremos hacer es suavisarlos y enfocarnos en la parte baja de tu outfit. El escote en V te ayuda a alargar tu figura y tu cuello, haciendote ver más pequeña. La falda tiene unos pliegues frontales que agregan volúmen y dan el balance perfecto para lograr el equilibrio deseado.
